NOTE: Our availability is on a first-come, first served basis and is NOT guaranteed without a formal reservation and deposit. Bookings cannot be confirmed until a deposit has been paid. Please understand that phone and/or eMail correspondence does not guarantee a booking unless a deposit is received. Supplies are not ordered and designs are are NOT started without the required deposit.

Something Spectacular is a full-service, floral design studio providing the highest quality, ultra realistic, silk bouquets and arrangements for weddings, showers, anniversaries, homes, offices, hotels, and gift-giving. Since we are a design studio without a public retail location (consultations by appointment only), we are able to focus all of our time, attention, and creativity on your order without the interuptions or distractions of regular walk-in traffic. We work with clients all over the world, are on the preferred vendor list of many professional bridal consultants and event planners, and are often selected as the exclusive floral provider for bridal fashion shows in the Midwest. We've even had some of our wedding design photos published in Florists' Review magazine, a monthly, international journal published for professional florists.

While later this year we will introduce a line of ready-made bouquets and arrangements, we are currently a custom design studio dedicated to creating original designs that are unique to each order and event. We tailor each and every order specifically to the client's preferences, vision, and budget. Because of this customization, we cannot provide a one-size-fits-all price list. There are many factors that go into the estimation and pricing of an order. Only after a thorough consultation, when we have a better understanding of your vision and have had an opportunity to discuss your preferences regarding silk quality, design styles, sizes, etc, can we give a detailed estimate. This is particularly important and relevant for our bridal clients as they are typically purchasing more arrangements than our interior design or corporate clients.

Although it's difficult to project an accurate wedding or special event estimate without knowing a great amount of detail about the event itself and the client's preferences and budget, we understand that potential bridal and special event clients would like some general guidelines regarding budgeting for wedding flowers before making an appointment for a consultation. Therefore, we'd like to assist you with two of the most popular methods of budgeting.

Most wedding planners, bridal guides, and professional bridal consultants agree that brides should plan approximately 10% of their overall wedding budget for flowers. This percentage will likely need to be adjusted slightly higher for large wedding parties (4 or more bridesmaids) and/or for weddings where flowers are a high priority for the bride and groom. Very small wedding parties (1-2 bridesmaids), and/or weddings where the most realistic silk flowers are not a priority, could likely adjust the percentage lower.

Another common approach for developing a wedding floral budget is to calculate your flowers on a per-person, basis. For example, for an average sized wedding, you'll budget approximately $15-20 of flowers for each person attending your wedding. The total amount should cover all flowers necessary for bouquets, boutonnierres, corsages, ceremony decorations, and reception decorations. For some weddings, this method of calculation is not always an accurate measurement, particularly for very small, simple weddings or large, elaborate weddings. Remember, wedding budgets are very individualized so that's why a personalized consultation, with all of your event specifics, is necessary.

It is important to contact us early in your planning process as we are known as both The Premier Silk Floral Designer™ and The Picky Bride's Florist™, and we book very quickly. From time to time we are able to squeeze a small order into our design schedule for dates we are already booked or for short notice events. However, oftentimes brides visit our website many times over a period of weeks or months before finally contacting us and are disappointed to discover we are unavailable for their date. Note that we accept orders on a first-come, first-served basis, so those who book their dates first with a formal reservation are guaranteed our services.
